Review

The Nokia 6220 is a business class phone that also includes features like an integrated digital camera, video recorder and FM radio.A novel feature of the Nokia 6220 is the EDGE connectivity, which along with GPRS provides a very high-speed internet connection. In addition, the 6220's XHTML browser provides a rich full colour interface to the web.Nokia have resisted the temptation to make the appearance of the 6220 "cool" and have sensibly provided a conventionally-styled keypad, making the phone usable as well as smart.

Apart from these features, it's a good-looking all-round performer at a budget price. The infra-red modem enables the Nokia 5210 to easily interface with a laptop for example. The x-press on covers are designed to protect against bumps and scratches.

Review

The Nokia 5140 is the latest in Nokia's 5xxx series of durable phones designed to be hard wearing for outdoor and sports activities. Nokia claim that the 5140 offers "Enhanced durability and resistance to the elements and usage in sports inspired lifestyle." It's debatable just how durable the phone is - soak it in water or drop it onto a hard surface and it's likely to break, just like any other mobile - but Nokia have certainly made an effort to protect the phone against minor bumps and splashes. The outer shell is tougher than most, and being changeable it can be replaced if it gets scratched or scuffed. The bottom flap helps to protect against water damage, and there is an inner module to provide additional protection against water damage.

Review

In early 2003, the Nokia 3650 turned a lot of heads when word of the phone leaked back in September, 2002. One cannot help but notice how Nokia's flair for unique designs really shows. The departure from the standard square keypad is interesting - a trend started by its predecessors.

Review

The most obvious feature of the 3530 is the addition of a colour screen. With the high resolution screen reaching 4096 colours it presents a clear display that is a great size for game playing. This is combined with java ability and the option to download more games via wap 2. Nokia 3530 also supports GPRS and wap 1.2.1 making enhanced web browsing one of its key features.

Nokia 3510i Review

If to compare this model to its forerunner Nokia 3510 we'll see that the phone got a full functional MMS (not only receiving but sending also). The main thing is that a color display showing up to 4096 colors and supporting HSCSD appeared... All the rest characteristics are mostly similar. Also several new panels both standard and graphic were produced.

Review

The Nokia 3510i updates the Nokia 3510 with a colour screen and downloadable Java games. Like the 3410 and 3510, the Nokia 3510i has all of the features that made the 3210/3310 so popular - downloadable ringtones, Xpress-on™ covers and great ease of use. It also has new features that were first introduced on the Nokia 3510 - polyphonic (MIDI) ringtones, Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and GPRS (fast, always-on internet access). The X-press-on covers available for the Nokia 3510i include some specialised functional covers, such as the gaming cover. Snap on the gaming cover, and you can really enjoy the 5 built-in games, which make good use of the phone's polyphonic sound and vibration effects.

Nokia 3510 Review

The feature of this phone is that it has polyphonic melodies and also it's the first time when a middle-class Nokia phone supports GPRS and MMS. This means that the model will be in production for a long time. And for the first time there are gleaming in the dark panels with changed key form among accessories.

Class: youth, middle
Position in the line: between 3410 and 5210 models.
Rival phones: Siemens C45, Alcatel 310

Review

The Nokia 3510 was the replacement for the hugely-popular Nokia 3210/3310/3330 phones. Featuring an updated front panel design, the 3510 is the same size as the older Nokias, but lighter. Like the 3410, the Nokia 3510 has all of the features that made the 3210/33xx so popular - downloadable ringtones, Xpress-on™ covers and great ease of use. But it introduces some new technology within the familiar exterior. New features include polyphonic (MIDI) ringtones, Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and GPRS (fast, always-on internet access). The X-press-on covers available for the Nokia 3510 include some specialised functional covers, such as the gaming cover. Snap on the gaming cover, and you can really enjoy the 5 built-in games, which make good use of the phone's polyphonic sound and vibration effects.

Nokia 3410 Review

The peculiarity of the phone is that it became the first of Nokia models to support Java applications and have a recurrent alarm clock for a week. About all the rest features, this phone is rather scarce in functions and according to its characteristics can be positioned between 3330 and 5210 models.

Nokia 3300 Review

This phone combines mp3 player and radio. It was based on Nokia 5510, whihc hadn't become popular due to high price and large dimenisons. Nokia 3300 doesn't have the second shortcoming. Other features are typical to phones of platfrom 40 from Nokia.

On the one hands, Nokia 3100 is a cutting version of platform 40, which power such handsets as Nokia 6610/7210/6800, on the other - the new model is a sucessor of 3000 series. It is positioned above Nokia 2100, what indicated the higher status. It is impossible to compare this

The good:
Excellent battery life; supports instant messaging; solid personalization options; some world roaming.

The bad:
Call quality could be better.

The bottom line:
This lightweight mobile from Nokia has real teen appeal for an affordable price

The Sony Ericsson K700i has a dual front, on one side it is a mobile phone & then on the other side it is great digital camera. The K700i is a great looking phone which comes in a choice of either optic silver or blue tinted silver colours & it looks very sleek in either options. The phone is a little on the heavy side but this adds a feel of quality to the K700i making it feel solid & more comfortable in the hand

Review

The Sony Ericsson J230i is a small & very user friendly mobile phone which is very light to carry around. The J230i has been marketed towards the middle of the market & is a very affordable mobile phone. The J230i is aimed towards the user who wants a highly reliable phone without too many technical features but still wants a highly fashionable mobile phone.
